Did you miss the new releases for August 2023 by SeneGence? No worries, this blog post is going to go over all the lip colors and collections that were released in the past month!
Burgundy Plum HydraMatte LipSense
The month of August had a lot of HydraMatte LipSense lip colors release, but I think of the three colors to join us this past month Burgundy Plum is my favorite. If you have been around for a minute you know I favor the darker berry family so this fits right in!
Plus, it mixes beautifully with other lip colors to create stunning custom shades. You can even easily wear this one as blush and an eye color for an all in one makeup product too!
peony pink HydraMatte LipSense
In second place for HydraMatte shades during August would have to be Peony Pink. This cool, bold pink has a matte finish and gives off your classic Barbie inspiration. I’m not usually a bold pink girl, but if you are you will die for this shade.
Same as Burgundy Plum HydraMatte it looks great as a blush and eye color as well.
Bare Beauty HydraMatte LipSense
Coming in last for HydraMatte shades in August for me was Bare Beauty. This is a very light nuetral toned nude and gives off concealer lip vibes from the 90’s! 😂 However, I think this shade is one to have in your repertoire if you like a lighter lip or you want to lighten up any other HydraMatte shades.
Oh it would also look fantastic in the center of your lip if you tap some on to give you more of that ombre effect. Other than that this one is not one of my faves. I mean not that you couldn’t already tell.
Cafe Cozy Collection
The Cafe Cozy Cosmetics Collection was a great way to transition from summer to fall. This collection features three new shades and one returning. Cold Brew LipSense, Honey Latte Gloss, Oat Milk ShadowSense, and returning Hot Chocolate ShadowSense.
This collection would make a great gift as it’s neutral tones and creates a great base for getting started with SeneGence or adding to your collection. Plus, Oat Milk on deeper skin tones the makes the most stunning highlighter.
Lovely Lavender Ready-in-Five Cosmetics Collection
Although the next three collections do not introduce new products, they offer pre-packaged color palettes as a convenient starting point to achieve a cohesive look effortlessly! The first ready-in-5 collection is Lovely Lavender.
This collection contains Blush LipSense, Madeleine Gloss, Amethyst ShadowSense, and Rustic Brown ShadowSense! This collection is one of my top three out of the five collections available!
Copper Charm Ready-in-Five Cosmetics Collection
The Copper Charm Collection is one that I feel will “scare” most people, but it is so good for most skin types! This ready-in-5 collection comes with a Bombshell LipSense, Sand Gloss, Copper Rose Shimmer ShadowSense, and French Roast ShadowSense.
Not only can you wear these shadows on their own, as bursts of color around your eyes, but the lip colors compliment easily. Bombshell can be worn with other shades to lighten them up, but Sand Gloss can be added to any lip color to warm it up. This is another one in my top three of the five collections.
Rosy Rendezvous Ready-in-Five Cosmetics Collection
The last ready-in-five collection released in August was the Rosy Rendezvous Cosmetics Collection. This collection for me has some staple colors, but on my skin tone I do not prefer them as a complete look.
Bella LipSense is a crowd favorite and one of my top selling LipSense colors and you cannot go wrong with our Satin Matte Gloss. If you prefer the matte lip look then you want that gloss in your arsenal.
As for the shadows in this collection that is where I personally find it hard to use on myself as a complete eye look. I prefer to pair Smoked Topaz with brown shades, but you can do Pink Frost on your eyes and then use Smoked Topaz as an eyeliner! Or use Smoked Topaz as a one shadow eye look and use the pink frost as an inner corner highlight.
