September 2023 SeneGence Releases
September 2023 wasn’t a huge month for new releases, but it was for promotions! During the month we received two brand new HydraMatte lip colors Chocolate Bar and Candy Coral LipSense. Each of these shades is versatile and made a big splash as we head into the fall.
SeneGence seems to be really building out their limited edition and permanent line collection of these one step, long-lasting lip colors and I’m here for it as a busy mom.
Chocolate Bar HydraMatte LipSense
Chocolate Bar HydraMatte LipSense is a bronze tone with a caramel russet chocolate shade and a matte finish. This shade screams Fall and versatility! Wear this lip color as just that, a lip color, or as blush or eye shadow! Or mix and match it with your favorite HydraMatte shades to create a custom look.
I especially like this one paired with Bare Beauty HydraMatte, as seen above, but I have seen other ladies wear it as an ombre lip with Candy Coral HydraMatte as well.
Candy Coral HydraMatte LipSense
The second new lip color released was Candy Coral HydraMatte LipSense. This lip color they say is a vibrant coral with a matte finish, but in my opinion it’s more of a muted coral on me. While I’m not the largest fan of coral shades I can see the allure of this color if you do! It provides just enough pop to be worn multiple ways and I do think it will transition to fall by mixing and matching with other colors.
But as I always say, doesn’t matter the “rules” of makeup, wear what you love!
