How to Apply LipSense

The moment is here and you now have the best long-lasting, hydrating, lip color on the market! Now if you only knew how to properly apply it like your distributor showed you when you purchased. Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered in that department!
LipSense doesn’t apply like a conventional lip color so PLEASE reach out to me if you need help or are having issues. It is totally normal until you are used to the process of applying and then it is a breeze to apply.
How to Apply:
Wipe your lips clean and dry. Don’t forget to wipe the inner portion of your lips too! This will allow the color to adhere better to your waterline giving you that 4-18+ hour wear you are looking for.
Shake your tube to mix up the pigment. You should hear the metal ball bouncing around in your tube. Avoid banging the tube on your hand, counter, or anything else so you do not break the tube open.
Wipe the excess color off the wand. If you apply the color too thick you will notice flaking of the color. It is meant to be applied in 3 THIN layers. Don’t worry the color builds as you go.
Apply to your lips in those 3 thin layers. Avoid going back and forth so you don’t pick up the pigment you already put on your lips. You can go the same direction multiple times, but avoid going left then right then left. Keep your lips apart during each layer application. You do not want to rub your lips together until you have gloss on. Usually by the time you have finished the bottom and top lip then you are ready to go back to the bottom lip, but you can test this by tapping your lip to see if it is still tacky.
From there seal your new lip color with your choice of SeneGence gloss. Glossy gloss is my favorite (especially for new collections) as it is the most hydrating and really seals in your color while providing that extra moisture to your lips they desperately need.
