Iced Neutrals Mini LipSense Collection First Thoughts

My Iced Neutrals Mini LipSense Collection FINALLY arrived and it is everything I thought it would be, extra frosty! 😂 If you love frosty, metallic lip colors then you want to keep reading because you are going to want this collection. I’ll be 100% transparent in the fact that extra frosted lips are not my personal favorite so keep that in mind as you continue reading.

Keep in mind this collection is comprised of three mini LipSense tubes (the size of ShadowSense tubes) and can be purchased together with the bag or individually.

The first lip color in the trio is Bronzed Maple LipSense. I think of the three this one is my personal favorite, go figure the darkest one is my favorite, IYKYK. 😜

It applied easily and is a deep chestnut brown lip color. While the metallic finish is strong in all three of these lip colors, I’d say it is the most ‘subtle’ in this lip color shade.

If you like shades like Cocoa LipSense, Nutmeg LipSense, or Plum Pretty LipSense then you will love Bronzed Maple!

Next is Creme Brulee LipSense. This is the middle lip color in depth of shade in the trio and it earned second place for me in my personal ranking of colors.

Creme Brulee is a soft medium rose-gold lip color with a metallic finish. This one is a little less ‘icy’ than Melted Sugar below, but it still catches the light to be extra frosty than some of our other LipSense lip colors.

If you love Rose All Day LipSense, Plum Pretty LipSense, or Beige Champagne LipSense then you might love Creme Brulee LipSense!

Melted Sugar is the final lip color in the collection and it is the lightest of the three shades. For me this is my least favorite as I feel like I’m wearing white on my lips and it washes me out. It doesn’t seem to pair well with my lip color and skin tone.🙈

Okay now that that is out of my system, Melted Sugar is a rose champagne lip color with a metallic finish. The application was fine, same as the other two lipstick colors in this collection. The metallic finish in this one seemed the most prominent to me of the three.

If you love Mauve Ice LipSense, Cappuccino LipSense, or Pink Champagne LipSense then you might like Melted Sugar LipSense.

Overall, like I said I think this collection is going to be a hit or miss depending on how you feel about frosted lip colors. I do not hate them, but I prefer them to be a little more subtle like Caramel Apple LipSense. I do think I’ll be using these three shades to layer with to add a little pizazz to my lip mixes though!

I’d love to know in the comments what you think of this collection? Is it a yay or nay for you?

If you would like to snag the complete collection you can find the direct link below. They are also available individually on my website, links provided above.
