Look of the Day | Neutral With A Purple Twist
Do you prefer a more natural eye look on a regular basis, but you’d like to play with color that isn’t over the top? Then this eye look is for you! It’s a neutral look with a purple twist that gives you that little bit of fun while still giving a casual and neutral base.

How I applied
I applied this eye color the same way I do most, except instead of candlelight for a base I used natural tan. Apply natural tan all over the lid up to just below the brow bone. This will allow the natural tan to act as a base and a neutral palette to begin with, as well as your crease color.
Next, I tapped celestial shimmer ShadowSense all over my eyelid. I tapped the color up to the crease to blend them together and then out to the outer corner. Since celestial shimmer is a more sheer shade the natural tan allows it to pop off and then bringing it up into the color colors alows them to blend together to create a cohesive look.
Lastly, I applied Garnet ShadowSense in the outer corner in a V-shape. Then I blend the color inward so the pigment is the deepest in the outer eyelid. Then I played with each shade until I was happy with how it blended together.
This is a super natural look, but with a slight pop of color. If you’re scared to play with colors, I highly suggest this look because it isn’t too loud and in your face. You could also sub the Garnet for French Roast ShadowSense because French roast has that little bit of purple pigment.
