I’m all about the neutral tones and playing with a pop of color! Today’s look of the day features just that! Desert Rose ShadowSense, Candied Cocoa Shimmer ShadowSense, and French Roast ShadowSense pair beautifully to create a stunning eye shadow combination perfect for the office, running errands, or even car pickup line!

How I applied

If you have been following for a while you know that I tend to apply trio eye shadow colors in a similar fashion and today is no different.

I started with Desert Rose ShadowSense in the outer corner, crease, and slightly on my eyelid to add the pop of pink to the look. You don’t have to worry about applying super neat as it will be covered up my the other eye shadow colors. Depending on how bold you are wanting the look I’d sheer this step out or pat on the color to make it darker. I feel like the crease really sets the tone for how bold the rest of this look will be.

Next, I pat a light layer of Candied Cocoa Shimmer onto the lid. Once I liked the amount of pigment I took the same brush and slightly drug the remaining pigment up into the crease and outer corner to blend together the colors.

Last, I took a denser brush and blend French Roast into the outer corner of my eyelid and slightly into the crease. As always with this last step I like to go back over with the other brushes until I’m happy with how the three pigments blend together. One thing to note with French Roast, I feel it dries quicker so you want to work with one eye at a time until you are comfortable with application. :)

Today I played with layering LipSense colors. That is truly one of the best parts about LipSense is you can create your own custom colors. I started by applying two layers of Charmed LipSense and quickly realized I wanted to tone down the pink and make it a little more brown to tie in the eye shadow colors. I thought about doing a layer of Precious Topaz, one of my go to colors, but instead subbed for Amber Spice LipSense for the third and final layer. Sealed in with Glossy Gloss and good for the day!
