Look of the Day | Fall Pink Perfection
Oh my goodness, I've been so sick lately!🤧 But today, I'm pulling myself out of that fog and applying some makeup. Since being under the weather, my lips are seriously chapped, and my skin is super dry - partially because I haven’t been drinking enough water. So, to combat that, I’m starting off with our Color Correcting Tinted Moisturizer. This gives my skin a little extra hydration compared to foundation. Don't get me wrong, our foundation is anti-aging and moisturizing too, but in my opinion, the tinted moisturizer provides that added boost of moisture I need right now. I'm using the shade Light-Medium, and it’s perfect for giving me even skin and that hydration I’m craving.
Being sick is no fun, right?! But, I owe my beauty community an explanation on how to apply three different eyeshadow shades to finish off an eye week. So, today I’m going with Fireside Fig, Pink Opal Shimmer, and Burgundy, such a gorgeous combo! It’s pink but can totally transition into fall. You could easily deepen that Burgundy shade to create a darker, fall-ready look, but for me, this is a classic, all-year-round eye that’s great for everyday wear.
Fireside Fig ShadowSense
I started with Fireside Fig, but I’ve been testing out a new method where I place the color in the outer corner, sweep it across my crease, and blend it up and out using circular motions. This helps distribute the color evenly while giving that seamless blend I love. I also tapped a bit of Fireside Fig onto my eyelid to bring more of that pink tone forward, using it as a transition shade to tie all three colors together. It’s such a versatile color, it works beautifully as a shadow or even a blush. You could even pop it on your lips, but y’all know how I feel about that!😅 If you’re into pink tones, this one is a must-have.
Burgundy ShadowSense
Next, I applied Burgundy to the outer corner of my eyelid, blending it slightly up and over without overpowering the Fireside Fig in the crease. I always play around with my eyeshadow until it looks just how I want, so don’t stress if it’s not perfect at first—there’s no right or wrong way! Burgundy is one of those colors that’s a must-have for fall, and if it’s not already in your shadow collection, trust me—you’re missing out! Plus, use this one easily as a blush color to create a cohesive look!
Pink Opal Shimmer ShadowSense
Finally, I tapped Pink Opal Shimmer onto my eyelid as a highlight for the eye. It has this stunning pink tone with a slight white shimmer that’s super bright. You can really build it up if you want a more intense shimmer, but today, I kept it more subtle. It’s also a great highlighter for your cheekbones, so it’s another versatile shade that I find myself reaching for often—especially when creating these pink and burgundy looks.
Plush Plum Juicy Plumping Lip Gloss
Since I wasn’t going anywhere today, I just threw on my favorite Juicy Plumping Lip Gloss, Plush Plum. Seriously, this is my all-time fave, and I’ve even stocked up on a few for myself to make sure I never run out since it is a Limited Edition! If you haven’t tried our new plumping glosses yet, you have to. They feel so smooth and light on the lips, and the shine is just gorgeous.
Overall, I’m loving how this makeup look turned out, and I’ll probably be rocking it again soon!
