Beachwaver's New 3B Waver
New Favorite Hairstyling Tool - OBSESSED
Beachwaver released another new hot tool for your hair called the 3B Waver, a Triple Barrel Curling Iron. I have been wanting to try one of these triple barrel curling irons so no better time for Beachwaver to come out with their own! Currently the 3B Waver is available in the Midnight Rose Collection along with the Clamp & Curl and Beachwaver B1, but it can be purchased on its own as well. I’m seriously OBSESSED with this thing and don’t be surprised if you see me rocking these loose waves all winter long.🤣

My Thoughts
Like I said I have been wanting to try one of these triple barrel wavers for a while and I was way too excited to try this one that I ripped it out of the box and started filming me trying it out. I’ll be honest I was more nervous with this tool because it is bigger than my Beachwaver B1 wand so I had to get used to it, but once I did it was a breeze.
I seriously have nothing bad to say about this tool and I feel really nerdy how much I’m loving it. The 3B Waver gave my hair nice texture AND volume without looking like I tried too hard. I have heard some say they thought the triple barrel wavers took longer, but that wasn’t my experience. I felt like it was fast, easy, and right up my alley.
Some Tips for Styling with the 3B Waver
In my video above you do not see me use a heat protectant, but I did that before I started the video. Make sure you always use a heat protectant on your hair when using any styling iron!
Okay now some tips specific for the triple barrel curling iron. Take 1 inch sections, let it sit in your hair for 4-5 seconds, then move the barrel down your hair to the last indent and repeat until you have completed the length of hair. Honestly, the amount of time you leave the tool on your hair is going to be dependent on your heat setting. I need to up my heat setting next time so in the video you will see I left it there for 5-7 seconds.
Other things to consider are smaller sections will have a crisper wave and larger sections will provide a softer wave. I opted for larger sections (maybe that is why I didn’t feel it took too long).
Lastly, when by the root of your hair you want to place the iron in a 90 degree angle.
If you have any additional tips share them below in the comments! I can’t wait to hear how others are using it and to play around with this new hot tool even more.
