What is the difference between Matte, Shimmer, Glitter ShadowSense Colors?

One question I receive a lot is what is the difference between SeneGence’s Matte, Shimmer, and Glitter ShadowSense eye shadows?!

What is the difference?

Well, the best way to see the difference is through our two most popular shades that happen to come in each type. You can see the colors vary slightly between the three, but it really comes down to the chunkiness of the shine.

Mattes - These will have a flatter finish. Tend to stick to oily eyelids better. Don't really offer any shimmer and shine. Easier to build up pigmentation.

Shimmers - These will have a smoother shimmer throughout. They won't have a chunky glitter look and are best if you have extra sensitive eyelids, but still want some shimmer.

Glitters - These will have a chunkier texture to them. While you cannot feel it on your eyelids the glitter flecks tend to be more noticeable and disbursed throughout the color. Great for on your eyelid, but wouldn't recommend as highlighters.
