Endless Content Ideas for Direct Sellers
A Common Problem
One of the top questions I get from new distributors in direct sales is how do I come up with ideas to post or in this case content ideas. Well, today I’m here to share a couple different methods you can follow to help jog your brain for content ideas! I’ll start with the most generic ones and then discuss company specific ideas, which I did the opposite in my video, BUT you can apply these to whatever business you may have as I’m sure you have similar resources.
How To Find Content Ideas
Magazines
Check what magazines in your field are writing about. They have very expensive departments dedicated to content production and ideas related to their brand. Find a magazine and use the articles as a diving board for your own ideas. Here are some ideas for you:
Health & Fitness: Shape, Health, Eating Well, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Runner’s
Beauty: Allure, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Marie Claire, Seventeen
Clothing & Style: Vogue, InStyle, Style, Fashion, Elle
The list is really endless and a lot cross over so think about your brand, what you want to talk about, and go from there! DO NOT COPY THEIR ARTICLE, but use it as an idea to get started and put your own spin on it.
Utilize Google! Google literally tells you what other people are asking and I find this to be such a beneficial tool. Pick a topic you want to discuss and you can likely come up with at least 10 more ideas for posts by searching different keywords and looking at ‘People also ask.’
For Direct Sellers
Team Page
If you are one of my downlines you have access to a plethora of post ideas at your fingertips in both our team page and our leaders team page. We are very collaborative and love to share ideas so utilize what has been shared to spark ideas for yourself!
Facebook/IG Search
Utilize the Facebook/IG search bar to see what others have said about the products you are trying to discuss. How do they promote it? Did they come up with a crazy clever way to share about the item? If so, DON’T COPY, but take the idea, add your spin, add your own photos and try it for yourself! Remember, your clients follow you for you so they are going to know when you aren’t being your authentic self. However, I know how it feels to be in a content rut so use others ideas to help you come up with your own creative twist!
