Sunset Skies LipSense Collection | First Look
It’s Here!
The Sunset Skies LipSense Collection finally arrived and it was worth the wait! I love the metallic pink bag that comes with the collection because it is such a refreshing change from the glitter bags we have seen in the past. Also, this collection comes with a free rose gloss which is SUPER fun to add to slightly change up your color. Anyhow, let’s chat about these three colors because they are fantastic transitional colors to Fall!
3 Gorgeous Colors
Amber Spice Limited Edition LipSense - This lip color shocked me! I was expecting it to be my least favorite of the three and I think it ended up being my absolute favorite. It applied easily and reminds me of a more red (hence amber) Plum Pretty or a lighter Broadway Bronze LipSense. TOTALLY a daily wear color, even my husband was like, “Wow, that’s Amber Spice? I wasn’t expecting to like that one.” Thanks honey. LOL
Berry Limited Edition LipSense - This is a returning shade, but the formula is definitely different than the original. I find my original Berry LipSense to be a little deeper in color and thicker in formula. I’m not sure if the average person would notice, but obviously I test all the LipSense shades. 🤣 It applies in more of a sheer sense like Crystal Mauve, Manhattan Mauve, or even Sheer Red. The consistency is thinner, but the color is still vibrant. The difference in the two shades was minimal, but there is a slight difference. If the original Berry LipSense was one of your favorites then you are sure to love this Limited Edition Berry as well.
Sheer Red Limited Edition LipSense - Sheer red is a stunner! We went from having barely any reds to having a nice, well-rounded palette of them. I’d consider Sheer Red to be along the lines of Neutral LipSense, but a little deeper in color. It is a pop of red without being as loud as some of our other reds like Blu-Red, Fly Girl, or Red Ruby LipSense. I thought the application was easy and I can definitely see this being a staple for many this holiday season that steer clear of those super bright reds.
In Conclusion
Long-winded way to say that I personally enjoyed all three of these colors in the collection! There is usually one I find just eh, but these are all hits to me!
