Effortless Everyday Glam Meets Halloween Fun: The Versatile Deerly Beloved Makeup Collection

The Deerly Beloved Makeup Collection is one of the new glam looks this week from SeneGence, and it's perfect for October! Not only does it give you a stunning everyday bronze neutral makeup look, but it also has everything you need to create a super easy Halloween deer makeup look. Talk about versatility!

This collection includes Bronze BlushSense, White Concealer, Black EyeSense Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen, and Oat Milk ShadowSense. In this post, I’ll show you how to use these products for both an everyday makeup look and a Halloween deer look. I’ll also offer alternatives if you don’t want to purchase the entire collection as you might have similar items in your makeup bag.

Everyday Glam Look Breakdown

Oat Milk ShadowSense

Once you’ve applied your base face makeup (primer, foundation, and brows), the first step is to use Oat Milk ShadowSense. ShadowSense formulas are game-changers - they’re smudge-proof, budge-proof, and perfect for oily skin.

Here’s how I used it:

  • Eyelids: Oat Milk serves as the light base shade. Apply it all over your eyelid for a soft, neutral canvas.

  • Concealer Alternative: Depending on your skin tone, Oat Milk can also double as a concealer.

Alternative Shades: Natural Tan, Candlelight, Sandstone Pearl ShadowSense colors.

Bronze BlushSense

Next, apply Bronze BlushSense. This product is the cornerstone of both the everyday and deer looks. Here’s where it shines:

  • Eyes: After applying Oat Milk to your eyelids, blend Bronze BlushSense on the outer corners for a soft, bronze eye look.

  • Cheeks: Use it as a blush for a natural, glowing flush.

  • Contour: Apply it along the contours of your face (around the forehead, jawline, and even lightly down sides of your nose) for a defined look.

  • Lips: Yes, you can use this as a lip color! Just dab a little on your lips for a cohesive, monochromatic vibe. While it won’t be as long-lasting as LipSense it will last a decent amount of time!

This blush is lightweight, anti-aging, and smudge-proof, so it’s going to last all day while looking fabulous. A little tip: if your foundation is too light, mix a bit of this blush into it for a deeper shade.

Alternate shades: Moca Java, Blissful, Americano ShadowSense colors, or Deep CCTM, Bronze Dust Translucent Powder, Deep Translucent Powder.

Black Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen

Then, it’s time for eyeliner. The Black EyeSense Felt Tip Eyeliner is a favorite for those who love precision. I’ll be honest, felt-tip liners are not my forte, but if you’re more skilled than I am, this one will give you a crisp, clean line that lasts all day. Pro tip: When doing a cat eye, avoid raising your brows during application, or the liner may not sit where you want once your face relaxes.

Alternate Options: Black Eyeliner Pencil or Onyx ShadowSense

White Concealer

Lastly, we have White Concealer. This is a multipurpose gem for brightening and highlighting. Here’s how I use it for everyday:

  • Under-eye brightener: Dab a few small dots under your eyes, then blend it out with your foundation brush for a natural, lifted look.

  • Waterline pop: For bigger, brighter eyes, I apply a tiny bit of the concealer on my waterline using a fine brush.

And that’s your everyday glam look! It’s quick, simple, and gives you a natural glow. But what about Halloween? Here’s how to turn it into a deer look.

Alternate Options: Snow ShadowSense. If you wanted to add a little shimmer potentially Wind Shimmer ShadowSense.

The Deer Halloween Look

For the deer look, you’ll use the same products but with a few tweaks:

  • Black EyeSense Eyeliner Felt Tip Pen: Draw a black line along the top of your lip and a triangle on the tip of your nose. Extend your eyeliner into the inner corners of your eyes for that wide-eyed, doe look. If you struggle with felt-tip liners like I do, try using an angled makeup brush dot onto the eyeliner pen to draw on the trickier eye, lip, and nose portions.

  • White Concealer: Add dots of white concealer around your upper cheeks and forehead to mimic a deer’s spots. For more precision, use the back of a makeup brush or a dotting tool. I just used my finger because, let’s be real, I had kids running around while I did this!

  • Optional Touch-ups/Additions: You can deepen the contour with Bronze BlushSense if you want a more dramatic look. And for your lips, while I’m not a fan of using ShadowSense as lip color, the Bronze BlushSense is a great alternative for a quick lip shade when you’re in a pinch. You can also add more of the white concealer as a bit of highlighter to your cheekbones for an extra glow.

And there you have it, two completely different looks using the same versatile products! Whether you’re going for a polished everyday glam look or a fun Halloween deer, this collection has got you covered.

So, which look will you try first? Everyday glam or the cute deer look? Let me know in the comments!
