Look of the Day | Subtle Fall Makeup Vibes for Everyday
As the weather “cools” here in Florida and we pretend the leaves start to change (aka fall on the ground post hurricane), I find myself getting into the fall and holiday spirit pretty quickly. Today, I wanted to create a simple everyday makeup look that captures those cozy fall vibes, while also perfect for work, a casual outing, or just embracing the season in your daily routine.
This look combines some of my favorite go-to products with a pop of limited-edition lip color. It’s a soft, wearable fall look that’s easy to recreate, so let’s dive into what I used and how I put it all together!
Lips - A soft Fall Statement
For my lips, I started with Legacy Lips LipSense. This is such a classic color—originally created during our partnership with Miss USA—and it’s often compared to a Charlotte Tilbury shade that everyone loves, I think Pillow Talk (don’t quote me on which one, but it’s definitely a fan favorite!). Unfortunately, Legacy LipSense is currently sold out online, but I still have a few on hand if you’re looking for a refill or want to grab it before it’s gone for good.
To top it off, I used Valiant Vanilla Gloss, which not only has a delicious soft vanilla marshmallow scent but also beautifully tones down the pink in Legacy LipSense for a more neutral, fall-inspired lip. This gloss adds the perfect hint of shine without overpowering the look, just a touch of fall glamour that’s still super wearable.
Both of these products are limited edition and no longer available directly from the company, but as I mentioned, I do have a small stock if you're interested, just reach out!
Eyes - A Blend of Warm Fall Hues
Eyes are where I always have fun. What can I say? I start with the idea of using one color to be fast and easy, but end up mixing and blending a few to create the perfect look. It’s so relaxing, and it’s the best part of playing with makeup!
Here’s what I used for this subtle fall look:
Moca Java ShadowSense: This is such a great warm, neutral base for any look. I applied it over most of my lid, focusing on the crease and outer corner to create depth and definition. You cannot go wrong with this shade as it can double as bronzer/contour and eyebrow fill too.
Champagne Shimmer ShadowSense: I love adding a bit of shimmer for a soft glow. I tapped this into the inner corner and swept it across the center of my lid to brighten the look and give it that subtle fall sparkle. This eye shadow color is also great for highlighting around your face.
French Roast ShadowSense: For a little extra warmth and drama, I added a tiny bit of French Roast to the outer corners of my eyes. This darker, rich shade helps to balance out the shimmer and brings the whole look together. It is very pigmented so you don’t need much. Plus, use it as an eyeliner and blush too!
The beauty of this combination is that it’s neutral enough for everyday wear, but the shimmer and depth give it a fall twist that feels just right for the season.
Finishing Touches – Soft Fall Glam
Of course, I finished off with a few coats of UnderSense and our Waterproof LashSense for length and volume that stays in place all day, no matter how chilly or windy it gets outside. Seal it in with our hydrating loose powder, Translucent Loose Powder for a flawless finish all day.
