New Year's Eve Eye Makeup
Time To Get Creative
Whenever you look up holiday makeup it can be a bit intimidating, but don’t let it! The holidays are a great time to play around with colors and try new things. Generally you are off from work and have a little more time to experiment and play so allow yourself to get creative!
With that being said, I wanted to create a timeless look that I knew my clients would wear over and over and I think this is it! Plus, you can get a very similar look with several colors in our makeup line making it easy for you to shop your own ShadowSense makeup stash. Keep reading to see exactly how I created this holiday eye shadow look, totally a New Year’s Eve or Christmas stunner. Plus, at the bottom I included substitute color options for each step.
Shadows
Onyx ShadowSense
Onyx is a VERY pigmented color so less is totally more when you are working with this color. Start with a dot and blend into the outer corner of your eye and the Brown Sugar Shimmer ShadowSense. You will want to start with less of this color so as to not cover the Brown Sugar Shimmer completely.
Platinum Glitter ShadowSense
Add the final touches on your eyelid with Platinum Glitter ShadowSense. This is a VERY sheer color so you will want to pat it on and let it dry. You can repeat the steps until you achieve the desired pigmentation and coverage, but this shadow is sure to spice things up for the New Year!
You Have Options
If you are missing one or more of the shadows used above don’t fret, here are some great options to achieve a similar look! You will still follow the steps above, but with the colors you own.
Brown Sugar Shimmer: Candied Cocoa Shimmer, Garnet, Rustic Brown, French Roast, Smoke Shimmer
Platinum Glitter: Glacier Glitter, Moonbeam Shimmer (you can add a dot of your brown shadow to give it a more tan effect), Sandstone Pearl Glitter, Sandstone Pearl Shimmer, or Silver Shimmer
