Wearable Purple Eye Look
If you know me you know I LOVE LOVE LOVE everything berry family, but I know several clients see the color and shy away from trying it out because it seems intimidating. Here is a very wearable purple eyeshadow look that you can deepen up for a more bold look or soften a bit for a day at the office. Don’t let the berry family deter you for fear of trying! I promise you will love it when you try it.

Lilac ShadowSense is a very soft matte purple. If you want a little bolder of a purple you can complete this same look using Amethyst ShadowSense. I used Lilac here because I wanted a matte base that wasn’t too bold as I knew I was going to top it with Lavender Shimmer ShadowSense to give it that extra pop. Plus, the Lilac ShadowSense really brightens up the lid as it is on the more pale end of colors.
Lavender Shimmer ShadowSense is a very sheer color. I truly feel like this one needs a color under it to really allow it to pop or you have to use a thicker application on your lid. Therefore, in this look I applied it ontop of Lilac ShadowSense to allow it to have something to ‘grab ahold’ of and really shine. Lavender Shimmer ShadowSense is stunning as a highlighter and provides an extra little pizazz to any look.
Deep Plum is still one of my favorites because the coloring is STUNNING! It is a thinner consistency color so I feel like you need to work a tiny bit faster than other shades if you are wanting to sheer it out onto your eyelid, however, in the outer corner and crease it’s perfection. Plus, it pairs nicely with other shades like Amethyst, Candied Cocoa Shimmer, Moca Java Shimmer and Matte, and many others.
Overall, don’t let the berry family scare you. If this look is even too bold for you for a wintery day tone down the colors by applying less or skip the deep plum. The beauty with makeup and shadows is you can take inspiration from everywhere and make it your own!
