September Sneak Peek: Fresh Vibes, Bold Clues, and Fun Guesses
September is here, and that means a brand-new calendar of clues from SeneGence (and my birthday month)! I look forward to these each month because it’s always fun to piece them together and try to figure out what’s coming. Last month, a lot of us guessed pretty well (which made it even more exciting), but this month… whew. The clues definitely feel trickier.
Here is what we know so far:
Color of the Month: Burgundy - stands for compassion, sophistication, and power. To me, it also stands for Fall, cozy, cute and ready to get into holiday -ber months.
Monthly Theme: EmBOLDen - so I’m guessing we will see BOLD new things.
Here are the official hints for September 2025:
“Two bold favorites return, setting the tone with confidence and flair.”
“As the days cool down, deeper tones begin to surface, earthy, rich, and quietly powerful.”
“Midway through, something new begins to bloom, glowing with a warm flush that’s anything but ordinary.”
“Just before the month wraps, a triple threat arrives - something to smooth, revive, and protect your tips with a touch of lilac luxe.”

Clue 1 - “Two bold favorites return, setting the tone with confidence and flair.”:
Two bold favorites returning? So I had to erase what I originally guessed because I didn’t get this posted fast enough before the release was announced. I believe this clue relates to Charmed and Fire LipSense returning this month. That fits perfectly - Charmed (confidence) and Fire (flair). I was on the right track with Fire, but was definitely not correct with Charmed, but super happy for both of these to be back and joining the permanent color line!
Clue 2 - “As the days cool down, deeper tones begin to surface, earthy, rich, and quietly powerful.”:
Earthy and rich definitely feels very Fall to me. So no matter what it is, I’m thinking moody, deep, rich, and in that burgundy family. Based on the other clues they have given to us distributors, I think it is going to be an eye shadow that releases in the G.L.O.W. (weekly makeup look - Glamour Look Of the Week) which means a Monday release for everyone. My guess? Something along the lines of Burgundy or French Roast ShadowSense. I’d love to see some sort of burgundy shimmer? Wouldn’t that be flipping pretty as heck to kick off the Fall/Holiday season?! Ohh I can already picture it layered with champagne or gold ShadowSense shades. PLEASE let that be it now that I have gotten myself excited.😆 (inspo pic mix of Burgundy and Wildflower Shimmer ShadowSense)
Clue 3 - “Midway through, something new begins to bloom, glowing with a warm flush that’s anything but ordinary.”:
Okay this clue I totally thought I had cracked the code and they were going to bring back Peach Flush Loose Powder and Glistening Plum Loose Powders. Those were super popular shades, and I think they originally came out around this time of year, however, the clue says ‘NEW begins to bloom’ so those technically wouldn’t be new. 🤔 This week they also told us to focus on cheeks so I’d think a BlushSense or Loose Powder would have to be it. Maybe a burgundy dew BlushSense along the lines of Rose Dew, but deeper? I could get down with that!
Clue 4 - “Just before the month wraps, a triple threat arrives - something smooth, revive, and protect your tips with a touch of lilac luxe.”:
A “triple threat” for your tips with lilac luxe. My first thought was nails - maybe a trio set that smooths, revives, and protects. So maybe a lilac cuticle oil, nail polish, and clear top coat? But then I wondered, could it be hair related? Something like a split-end product that does three things in one? Since this week in September it highlights our real results and clinically tested products, haircare could fit that bill. I’ve been going back and forth as both nails and hair seem the most likely direction.
Another thought is that haircare doesn’t usually involve lilac unless it’s a color, which I don’t think we are going there, so maybe it is just a brand new nail care product.
I’ll be honest, last month’s clues felt easier, but this month was super fun to still try to guess! We will have to see what actually drops.
